Use the STEALTH Software retention option to provide a SharePoint-wide default for the length of time to retain each content on the External Storage.
The STEALTH Software retention option helps protect content on the external Storage from being overwritten or removed until the specified number of days has elapsed. When you set STEALTH Software retention, you do not have to specify the length of time to retain SharePoint content each time you perform a backup.
The default is 0 days. If you use the Lazy Garbadge collector before the set number of days has passed, STEALTH Software will ignore the content for deletion.
